Automatic workflow guide

Combine image-tool presets into a saved workflow, run multiple steps automatically, and handle cancellation or failed steps.

Save an automatic image workflow →

  1. Configure each operation in its own tool and save a batch preset. For example, save crop, resize, watermark and compression settings.
  2. Open Automatic workflows. Select a saved preset and add it as a step. Add 2–6 steps and use the arrows to put them in the required order.
  3. Name and save the workflow. It stores copies of the settings, so later changes to the source presets do not silently alter the saved workflow.
  4. Choose images and run. Each step receives the previous step’s results. Download the final files or send them to another tool.

Order, limits and recovery

Cropping or adding a watermark before compression usually avoids unnecessary repeated lossy exports; use PNG in intermediate presets when preserving pixels matters. A workflow can contain one stitching step, which combines the batch into one image for the following steps. Cancelling or a failed step stops the workflow and keeps the last completed step’s results. Review results before reusing a workflow on images with different compositions.

Limits and output

Up to 10 workflows, with 2–6 steps each. Stored in this browser; clearing site data removes saved workflows.
